'Grotesque' - New Edition

Grotesque

Prologue
“...characterised by fanciful or fantastic representations of human and animal forms often combined with each other and interwoven with representations of foliage, fruit, wreath into bizarre hybrid composite that is typically aesthetically satisfying but that may use distortion or exaggeration of the natural...”

♫♪ 'I can't stand to see it no more, the way you're living with a
Goddess
But you treat her like a slave and you can't hold her back anymore,
She's like a dreamer in a dungeon or an Angel in a cave!

And I'll be closer to you now than any other boy,
So you know what I'm saying is true you're gonna break her up
And tear her down and fade her away,
And then there's no telling what I'm gonna do!
I'll make you pay for everything that you do!
I'll make you pay for everything that you do!

But if you give me your girl and then you give me your trust
And if you give me till the end of the night -
I'm gonna love her for both of us!

I'm gonna give her everything you always wanted to give,
I'm gonna love her for both of us!
I'm gonna take her every moment that she wanted to live!

I'll let her shine like a jewel in the crown of the holy sun!
You turned her into a ghost but she'll be burning when the night is
done!
I'll let her shine like a jewel in the crown of the holy sun!
You turned her into a ghost but she'll be burning when the night is

You gotta give me your girl and your trust,
I'm gonna love her for both of us!

You can't hide anymore, you had a chance and you blew it
And you'll never get it back and your holiness was never so pure,

When the screws are tightnin' and the tears are falling
I can hear her crying out to be saved and like a bolt of lightning
I go answer the call but then,

Chapter one: Darkness

My name is Darcy, I am an animated principled, sapient and sentient Gargoyle automaton made of fuel, magical forceful essence energy, inorganic organ mechanisms, artificial brain and metal bones, joints and moulded armour skin, my body is mostly grey apart from hair and claws being the purest black, I am human sized, winged for decoration I guess and a rare freak of nature. An ancient decrepit wizard, named August Shadows, thought it would be amusing for something made and animated by him to immortalise his fame before and after he soon died. So here I am seated in his armchair, wearing his clothes within a study den in his glamourous and mansion, meditating on what to do with myself. I guess I can soon bury the man, do regular husbandry maintenance to the idyllic mansion estate, peruse all his recorded expert knowledge and magic, maybe disguise my grotesquely handsome appearance with a spell, explore the world and experiment until I become satisfied and desperately suicidal or hibernate until I awaken to discover the future better and has something worthwhile experiencing and it challenges me to master it. Now for the journey to begin, how should my lifestyle be like? I should dare to be wary, wise and zealous. Should I love another, maybe I should love and respect myself at least and hope to share such emotions with other like-minded and kind people and animals later. How should I improve my habitat, should I be religious and how do I replenish myself? How do I evolve, what mysteries are available and how do I amuse myself? All these things I must discover through participation and endurance.

Chapter two: The Answers discovered through Exploration

The Holocene calendar year of 12014, the season is Springtime, the location somewhere in Somerset, England.

The answers discovered through explorations are thus, after a month of experimenting this is what Darcy adopted: Throughout the first day after August's death Darcy prepares a pyre and sets the deceased ablaze to be incinerated and once the fire has burnt itself out Darcy collects the ash and sprinkles it all over the August's garden of resources and spoke a eulogy of good riddance and prosperity for the wizard in the afterlife of the astral planes, subsequently Darcy began an intuitive non-expert maintenance of the entire estate and mansion of which everytime he maintained Darcy's expertise developed the better he would preserve the beauty of his inherited home, then the perusal of myriads of different tomes and volumes of history, technology and magic documentation recorded in books and on the wizard's computer of which Darcy continues to heuristically experiment with the content of those things he eruditely studies and the expert literacy of computers, Darcy then decides that he should be able to perform magic, so he manages to achieve repetitively casting a beguiling glamour spell to conceal what only eccentric could appreciate and respect, within the month Darcy explores the whole Somerset, visits London and rest of Britain as he amuses himself studying the many intellectual and aesthete features available. As for his manners and lifestyle Darcy disguises himself as an eccentric pitch black haired gentleman with silver eyes in pursuit of experiencing marvels and being amused, his love for himself has grown and he treats everyone with kindness and searches for meritorious evidence in each he meets of worthy of earning his respect and affections, he continues to utilise the wizard's vast wealth to care for the animals, environment and people as he improves each of their prospects, survival and welfare, as for spiritualistic religion Darcy devotes himself to combining all religions as he learns more, and to replenish his energy Darcy sources out radiating magical objects. The only way Darcy has discovered thus far to evolve or mutate is to equip decorative and practical upgrades of body parts and sense devices, and playing the adventurous detective Darcy occasionally investigates old and new reported enigmas and hunts down criminals like Sherlock Holmes.

Chapter three: Lonely

Soon August's young prim prig maiden daughter, Sage Amaranth Shadows, arrives at the wizard's mansion estate, a female wizard, a witch some may call such a title, it seems even ancient wizards continue to have virility until they die. Sage resembles her father: dark raven hair, fair unblemished skin, ruby lips, green eyes, tall leanness, dignified and a taste for mystically aesthete fashion. However, Sage is distraught and grieving, easily provoked to stentorian paroxysms of hateful tantrums of anger and jealousy for Darcy having spent the last moments with her father and that he cremated her father and she was not here to watch and help. Darcy honourably defends himself by saying he was punctilious in achieving what the wizard asked him to accomplish for him, that is why he wrote a letter and composed an e-mail and sent it to communicate with her and it is her fault she was not here. Sage then apologetically defends herself that she was too sorrowfully grieving that she was not ready to attend the funeral. Sage then nonchalantly mentions she wishes to stay a few days burning out her grief here amongst her father's things. Darcy soon becomes a voyeur of Sage's drama and then accidentally a peeping tom. Sage soon discovers while coyly and illecebrously crooning and primping herself by accident that Darcy has been ogling at her and that he is indeed a Gargoyle and not human or a wizard she guessed him to be. Sage is insulted by Darcy's venial audacity, yet also astonished that her father completed one of his final dreams and realises Darcy must be lonely and starved for love. So instead of releasing her fury on him she tries to forgive him and then indulge and invest him with a new relationship as she commences an interview with him about he has done with his life thus far.

Chapter four: Wizard World

Darcy has recently discovered the names of Witch and Wizard Calendar and days and nights of the week from Sage to be thus:

January = First Month of Cold and the Rowan
February = Second Month of Quickening and the Ash
March = Third Month of Storm and the Alder
April = Fourth Month of Wind and the Willow
May = Fifth Month of Flower and the Hawthorn
June = Sixth Month of Strong Sun and the Oak
July = Seventh Month of Blessing and the Holly
August = Eighth Month of Corn and the Hazel
September = Ninth Month of Harvest and the Vine/Ivy
October = Tenth Month of Blood and the Reed
November = Eleventh Month of Mourning and the Elder
December = Twelfth Month of Long Nights and the Birch

Monday = Fair Moon's Day – Bright Moon's Night
Tuesday = Grace's Day – Glory's Night
Wednesday = Woe's Day – Wisdom's Night
Thursday = Maturity's Day – Mystery's Night
Friday = Charity's Day – Amusement's Night
Saturday = Industry's Day – Research's Night
Sunday = Beautiful Sun's Day – Rapturous Sun's Night

Once Sage and Darcy have come to know each other and after Sage has burnt out her grief and is happy that her father has already been experiencing a new rapturously blissful evolutionary life in the astral planes, Sage wants to show Darcy the nearest portion of the Wizard world where he does not have to disguise himself if he does not want to. The Wizard World is camouflaged covertly overt in the secular, however not all things are what they seem behind the deceptive veil. There are qualified education establishments, mischievous amusements and organised apprenticeships, entrepreneurships, laboratories, law and order in each region with free space. Since the secular world has developed advancements in technological science and Wizard world have been discovering how to adapt, co-exist and utilise with it for their best exploration of meritorious results and survival. With continuous optimal onerous research and development shared by many responsible over-achieving employees and volunteers the present and future is eccentrically exciting, indulgently invested in, peacefully tranquil and prosperously rewarding. Wizards are also in charge of magical creatures, like Darcy the animated Gargoyle automaton, so Sage will be his responsible mistress of authority.

From the shared interview this is what is known about Sage, she is an eligibly nubile, smartly termagant and wise first year scholar of virtuosity at a wizard university of higher education learning the arts, sciences and sports of magic and secular technology, Sage is an intern for Witch and Wizard psychology, she has many muses, her hobbies are combining the arts, sciences and sports of magic and secular technology in rituals and spell-casting, she has a familiar pet female kitten named Nike, her dowager mother, Mercedes, a former psychology professor at her university has been always obsessed with the afterlife and she has recently astral projected to the astral plane of Summerland and has not yet returned as she wanted to greet her husband when he would soon perish and Sage is more powerful than her parents combined.

Sage then kindly decides Darcy should reside with her in her apartment, amuse her when she is home, clean up after her and daily learn from her expertise. Darcy optimistically acquiesces to deracinate. Thus begins Darcy's vicissitude.

Chapter five: Jerk

A few days after settling in and punctiliously performing his daily duties Darcy, while in his human disguise, discovers to his antipathy that Sage has a golden blonde haired wizard captive mentally insane patient, named Gray Arthurson, a controlling cold-hearted, heinous, aloof, cocky, ribald, self-confident, self-interested, loud, mischievous rule-breaking, vaunted, volatile, perverted with the libido of a paragon lecherous satyr, with handsome allure and annoying successful jerk of depravity who treats Sage like a pet, of whom Sage says she is trying to fix his corrupted mind into a gentleman's mind-set – mainly Sage has chosen this subject of patient because she want acquire the power of his title, as Gray is the son of the prestigious Father Superior of Order in the Arthurson dynasty of the Purple Puritan Ministry of which I shall elaborate later. A deadpan snarky Darcy abhorrently, deep-dyed and infuriatingly hates and deprecates the way Gray wantonly kisses and touches Sage when she accidentally lets down her guard. Sage is optimistic together they, Darcy and herself, can used synergy and that he, Darcy, can travail to lead by example in hope that Gray may be impressionable as she strives and trawls to procure a spell to mend Gray's mind-set through manipulation in the meantime.

Sage's academic goal, like numerous like-minded aplomb students of bravura, is supreme edified mastery of her subjects, to become a trailblazer and to utilise her gumption in a greatly influential manner. Her daily lifestyle is a healthy one: enough sleep of lucid dreaming and meditation, nourishing fresh food, callisthenics, research, experimentation, developing innovation and exhibition or demonstration of each challenge, practising her talents and skills in the fields of art, science and sport, feedback and random acts altruistic deeds.

So what is left for Darcy to do is befriend Gray and hope Darcy's influence inspires Gray rather than the other way round. So Darcy meditates on where and how as friends are they to go form a brotherly bond so Darcy can infiltrate and sabotage Gray's mind, the results of such thinking is a secret grand romantic gesture of which is creating an incentive bet of vying to win Sage's heart, whoever persists acting so much that they become a well-mannered wise gentleman can be the first privileged to deflower and ravish Sage. Darcy has a platonic love for Sage and he is optimistic that if Gray's genuinely becomes a gentleman Gray would not be too interested to be so impatient to indulge in such a coveted reward of which is not his automatic right, as he needs to sincerely earn it by wanting to stay a good man. Darcy wants Sage to be happy, even though he would not mind being human to satisfy Sage's needs, he would gladly surrender her to a better entity. Now that Darcy thinks of it, this future must have been what the wizard August would have wanted Darcy to accomplish such a triumph.

Chapter six: Corruptive mischief

The greatest challenge for Darcy is to convince Gray that being a gentleman is not mawkish. After days spent with Gray, through supevene some of Gray's influence has rubbed off on to Darcy as he has become doubtful and jealous of Gray as now Darcy endeavours to discover a way to forsake his artificial Gargoyle body to create a new wizard human body and transmigrate his mind, spirit and soul into it to claim Sage for himself when he wins of which he feels he has a head start of an advantage. All Darcy has to do is persuade and seduce Sage in a wary, wise and zealous cunning manner and exacerbate, exploit and attritely extirpate Gray. This over-confidence is imbuing corruption in Darcy as he now prefers mischief to being neutral. Darcy knows better than to indulge in this sin and should immediately endeavour to purge this corruption while he is still in control. One night while Darcy slumbers dreams and feels ambivalent as he wonders should he meditate about this and discover the motivation to do what is right or to carelessly indulge in what is easy, become complasant, inappropriate and a monster when he eventually realises he is not worthy of Sage anymore as he is not the same person he once was. Once Darcy foresees and realises the dreadful and tragic consequences of the latter choice Darcy and suddenly he awakes up from his nightmare with the ambition to experience catharsis and optimistic that he may become a stronger and better person for choosing what is right.

Feeling guilty and regretful like burning inside out Darcy feels honour bound to make a penitent confession for forgiveness to describe his thoughts and explain his brief error of judgement that could have led him astray down the road to perdition with good intentions and lose of grace, honour and trust. So does Darcy privately approach and express himself, Sage is at first flattered, then aghast and forgiving as she acknowledges how Darcy feels. Darcy then promises to expiate and atone for his sinful seeds of destruction that almost sparked his descent further into irredeemable incorrigibility. Sage then admiringly says that she now knows for certainty that her father begot Darcy's honest mind, spirit and soul based on his own. Thus Darcy continues to share his insight about manners and how a gentleman essentially is to Gray in a gloriously alluring and inspiring manner of which Gray comes to appreciate in his own way. Gray continues to drag Darcy against the disguised Gargoyle's decorous preferences to places of narcissistic and hedonistic debauchery as the additional deal decrees each must be thrust out of their comfort zones into their opposite environment in hope either suitor may learn something about each place of habit and observe how resistant or not either are to the influential mystique of impeccable morality and sinful vice until either denounce their old ways.

Chapter seven: Return

A month later Darcy and Gray have become fondly respectful of each other, Darcy knows how to adapt in such debauchery situations and not allow it to affect him while respecting how Gray has matured, mellowed and sublimated with experience to be progressively disgusted with his old ways through enlightenment. The young wizard Gray has noticed how being affably nice and tactfully reverent without being beguilingly and mischievously sarcastic can reward him with Sage pampering with him intoxicating sweet regard and kisses, to people trusting him with greater responsibilities and thus unexplored tranquillising privileges. Sage and Darcy have guided Gray how to perform altruism and to want it to be charitable for the sake of rehabilitative fulfilment of his void and earning evolutionary rapturous bliss in Summerland.

Anon Sage receives a call from the nurses, who have been continuously treating her mother's resting body with revitalised vigour of nourishment while her mind, spirit and soul have been visiting Summerland, about Mercedes who has awoken to stiffness, thus she desires Sage to immediately visit her so that Mercedes may narrate her experiences with her daughter and to tell her how Sage's father is feeling and what he is busying himself with. Sage gleefully replies she will take personal days of absence from school to visit her mother and that she will bring two of her friends with her to introduce them to her precious mother.

To a wizard hospital Sage, Darcy and Gray travel by wizard private vehicle transportation. Once arrived and they ingress the patient's room Mercedes adduces her secrets of which she evokes, such as the synaesthetic physical and astral extra senses, latter of which are psychometry, telepathy and psychokinesis. Mercedes then mentions Summerland is a surreal realm of beauty, love, and knowledge, a strange place where all one's dreams can be possible through indulgence, and it is also a mystery storehouse of information of which can inspire esoteric revelations and bring out latent thoughts, and the empirical heuristic discovery of loving peace and harmony is how one is able to create within in such a reality. Mercedes continues to say that the power and ability to create at will is a dangerous as well as prestigious power and that one has access to unlimited and unclogged mental and emotional power of which gradually become underlyingly keener and deeper in that environment and fatigue disappears and she reaffirms there is acute pain and suffering in astral planes, however it can readily be controlled as she has experienced while pursuing social interaction. Mercedes's clear, precise thoughts seem to have had each their own definite shapes as she discovered, with sharp clean outlines, and manifestation of an endless variety of designs. Mercedes then mentions that August is feeling that he is growing young and strong again while eucrasy and ataraxia and he is contently busy with fervently contributing to the innovation of the cosmic experience while utilising the characteristic purely uncorrupted power-sources of extrovert light and introvert darkness. Mercedes then tells audience that August and her heard their daughters prayers and thus they created and perfectly developed a new spell called 'Corruption exorcism', then dispelling of corrupted seeds of destruction of extrovert light and introvert darkness, such as the affects, attacks and traits of these corruptions. Mercedes's audience finally deem her stories to have phenomenal credence, however Gray is anxious to be cured. Gray Arthurson then mentions his father, Ambrose, the latest Father Superior of Order of England in the Arthurson dynasty of the Purple Puritan Ministry of controlling the education, eugenics and transcendence of wizards and witches, shall be very glad and proud to hear his son of whom he has been disappointed with may become worthy to become the next F.S.O. soon.

Chapter eight: Purple Puritan Ministry

The populace of Earth is divided, those who are dull and secular and those who are eccentric and are able to perform and be magical. The Purple Puritan Ministry, with one Father Superior of Order leading each country, graciously dignified conducts it by encouraging its species of people by breeding with other non-related witches and wizards as well as with eccentric non-magic folk who have a magical affinity and heighten awareness whom have the high standards of strength, beauty, intelligence and wisdom. The P.P.M. also controls how far an individual witch or wizard progresses in their magical technology coexisting with the secular for each of their uniquely appropriate safety and purity of sanity, they also reward transcendence to special meritorious students and witch and wizard citizens with privileges to help them safely transcend their previous limits for the greater collectively consequential harmonious good of order. As for education all students are taught and instructed by expertise of both magical and secular technological art, religion, science and sport and the Father Superior of Order and the Purple Puritan Ministry share agreement to encourage fulfilling over-achieving edification as the F.S.O. and P.P.M. righteously and correctly invest, indulge, reward and punish results of those of whom they stewardly govern.

There is also a witch and wizard save-the-environment organisation, called 'Cleanliness is Next-to Godliness', of which is greatly supported and volunteered by many. While the non-magical folk have become now more careful how they reduce, reuse and recycle thanks to eccentricity witches and wizards, whom are nature and fertility syncretic religion based, have been devotedly saving the environment, with the Purple Puritan Ministry's endorsement, before the non-magical folk who have been uncaringly and ignorantly polluting and destroying the environment for many decades and centuries.

After a day of exerting exercise of Mercedes body and limbs she is ready to perform and cast the 'Corruption exorcism' spell on Gray Arthurson. Mercedes concentrates and converges her mental magic powers of light and dark power-source with her crystalline wand, charges it with the correct rectifying energy, swishes and flicks her wand as she shots out a blessing beam of visible semi-solid light and dark energy of which collides Gray who is seated and a strapped to and on a high backed conductive metal chair. Gray writhes with the throes of blessed rectification of his mind, spirit and soul error. After a moment a sweating Gray's excruciation stops he sits still and remorsefully and poignantly starts crying over all the bad things he has done and then says aloud to Darcy, “Darcy, you win, I have renounced my old ways, you can have her!” Astonished and embarrassed Darcy evinces blushing to his glamour wizard face then reveals his true form and says he cannot accept Sage as he could not satisfy her as he is a Gargoyle and that all he promised Gray was incentive for Gray to want to become a gentleman and Darcy knows Sage has a crush for Gray so Darcy surrenders his reward to Gray to explore romance with Sage.

Chapter nine: New Romance

Mercedes has given her blessing and permission to Sage and Gray to commence courting each other as Darcy and herself amusingly chaperone and watch how their prospective love blossoms. Darcy realises he has to continue with his fulfilling adventures so he wonders what he can now do in the world of witches and wizards. Darcy then decides he should take up the hobby of creatively evoking poetry, practising to play many musical instruments and singing inspired memorable songs as he journeys onwards to wherever he is needed.

Chapter ten: Escape

A dark eldritch abomination, insanely and eccentrically evil, once captive and rehabilitating wizard in the coldest, lowest, darkest and densest realm of the astral planes, amongst like-minded spirits in, escapes and enters the physical plane on Earth as a revenant. How it escapes seems to be an enigma, but the truth is Reese Griffith, his name, escaped through a loophole of which is his body on earth was preserved, healed and continues to functionally live without a mind, soul and spirit, however the link still remains and his disciples have recently performed a forbidden rare ritual to bring back the essence of their master from the astral planes.

Reese Griffith, a powerfully competent corrupted mischievous wizard extremist and terrorist, was exorcised from the physical plane at the beginning of the one hundred twentieth century of the Holocene calendar to suffer punishment in expected hope that he may evolve through rehabilitative redemption which the astral planes has such an affect on people. The enforcers of the Purple Puritan Ministry whom exorcised Reese Griffith did not immediately destroy his body, thus soon his body was stolen and treated by his disciples.

Reese Griffith's body, through the combined effort of decades of preservation of his corporeal freshly matured vigourous undying health by generations of his respectfully devoted disciples, outside in the wilderness under a magically temporary altered full violet moon is ready to be possessed and manipulated with. Reese Griffith is a flaming red-haired Celtic-Gaelic-Roman descendant, with fiercely keen sapphire blue eyes, a groomed beard, a fair skinned well-thawed muscular very proportionately tall and lengthy hirsute frame, aquiline nose and sharp magically corrected ivory white strong teeth. In Reese Griffith's first few moments of being reborn he shoots out fireworks from his crystalline long wand and soars into flight in the night sky to re-demonstrate to himself how to fight in mid-air. Reese Griffith's first act of insidious mischief is familiarise himself with the modern era, learning from the mistakes of those like him tried to accomplish their desires and growing his disciples ere revealing his return to physical life with a grand inextinguishable mischievous gesture.

Chapter eleven: Serendipitous encounters

Darcy returns to London alone as Mister D. Shadows adopted son of the late tycoon Mister August Shadows in his dignified human glamour to continue his consultant detective work while exploring London's new and old editions of art, science and sport and returning to his apartment paid for from the Shadow's wealth of which he warily and frugally utilises his allowances monitored by Sage to decorate his apartment, feed off the power-sources of rented out magic objects and advance and update his technologically practical possessions to help him solve enigmas.

After a couple of days a dreadfully angst-stricken woman, a curious snooping journalist, urgently rings Darcy's doorbell to acquire his protection from her dire problem. Ms Willow Woe is suffering paranoid insomnia after eavesdropping and witnessing a formidably, eccentrically and elegantly attired giant red-haired man drastically casting black magic to enticingly recruit new followers and she mentions how she feels lucky to have escaped with her life but she is anxious that the man and his followers may be stealthily tracking her and may be waiting for her to sleep and be vulnerable. Ms Woe mentions how the formidably, eccentrically and elegantly attired giant red-haired man's magic was like ominous telekinetically prehensile and sinuous dark electric sand and opaque smooth fluid. Darcy takes the case, it is clear that if the story and Ms Woe's suspicions are true she will need all the help she can get, however Darcy believes he cannot properly protect Ms Woe alone, thus he will contact Sage and ask how else to deal with this problem and how the ministry may help and whether or not they know of this man. For the meantime all Darcy can do is calm Ms Woe down, advise her to believe in positivity that it may give her protection and challenge her with something to keep her busy. It is obviously not wise to investigate the location either with Ms Woe or to leave her at his apartment unprotected in search for clues as he may attracted unwanted attention and he is no where near properly protecting himself from potent magic yet. Darcy then meditates and discovers that tying up loose ends may be the expected reason for this anonymous wizard would want to silence Ms Woe, perhaps also to cause terror in her and concentrate how terrifying the wizard is to one person for the sake of audacious cruelty. It seems to Darcy that this wizard is preparing for something magnificent, boastful mischievous amusement perhaps, and willing to do anything to earn satisfactory results. Not one to be trifled with and one who won't go away easily.

Once Darcy communicates with Sage explaining what he knows and his theories to which she mentions there was such an infamous person that meets the description of the wizard, however he is dead, and any children the wizard may have had are off the grid of awareness, albeit she tells Darcy he can bring Ms W. Woe to her apartment for safety for now ere the ministry becomes involved to protect the woman client as this is a very crucially serious exigency provoking the vigilance and arduous utilisation of the P.P.M.'s best agents to rectify the situation.

Chapter twelve: The Grand Reveal

With the advancement of the modern era so has Reese Griffith's mischief evolved, more keen, revolutionary, scandalous and smart. Reese Griffith, a man wealth and taste, candidly questions, mocks and wants to overthrow the status quo of authority, encourages impulse and enthusiasm, pursues out new ideas and experiences, defies convention and complacency, and endorses disharmony and hates stagnation. Reese Griffith teaches and inspires new knowledge and wisdom. To be specific, these are the details: Reese Griffith enjoys dysfunction and lampoons how weak order can be when without seeing the bigger picture, he wants to observe people become more wanton and zealous, he is impatient for future better results, he wants to cripple the system of order, expose the witches and wizards to the non-magic folk to cause distrust, segregation and violence, and wants everyone to demonstrate sparks of progressing excellence. The knowledge Reese Griffith teaches is his philosophy of debauchery, immunity, profit, quality and resilience after punishment.

Reese Griffith intends to blatantly show and boast how he is correct, he wants the non-magic folk and witches and wizards to have no choice but to indulge in and play his game to amuse him with their ingenious assaults on avenging themselves, daily desperate effort to rise above their struggles in a dystopia and act pathetically while imploring him for mercy. This is how he is going to do it: Reese Griffith has written a long exciting speech of which he desires to take over all the communication air-waves of the world's signals to broadcast his audacious exposure to the peoples of the planet of which he demands to be heard as he expresses the aforementioned details in a provocative, elaborately educational and rude-awakeningly charismatic manner of smug learned vocabulary and phrasing. All the while the speech is being heard and watched a nervous chill goes down each of everyone's spine as they realise it is the beginning of unpleasantness. Reese Griffith then concludes his speech by daring everyone to try to punish him.

Chapter thirteen: Rising to the occasion

While man's ambition evolves and the aspirations continue grow and vary as they seek to secure themselves ere attacking and conquering the meek and weak, what is more difficult, perilous to control and uncertain to succeed is to lead the introduction of new ideas and consequences. Men are easily influenced to obey immediate needs so much that a trickster will never lack victims for its scandalous mischief. Hatred is gained by jealousy of good works as well as by deserved, or not, atrocities. There is no surer sign of decay in the world than differences, beneficial or harmful, being attacked out of insecurity. When a man or woman wants to act and be virtuous in every way but grievously discovers that among either gender there are many less caring antagonising willing to make annoying obstacles for such uncorrupted moral purity. Persons either should be indulged or utterly destroyed, if one inflicts harm to, whether in perfidy or paranoid cruelty, others those people may heal and retaliate, to avoid a retaliation it is better to cripple and deny those persons of influence to avenge themselves through others more appropriate for the task. One should understand how one's enemy will trap one and be formidably and indomitably mighty enough to frighten these predators. Few are innately brave and some have bravery latently waiting for it to inspire a domino effect and be accessed through mystery. A Wise Prince or Princess is kind, honourable and well-intentioned, but with memorable expertise through sadness and melancholy continues to be reminded and encouraged with courage and strength. His or her major priority is the protection of his or her people, and, dissimilar to the pampered and sheltered from how to properly act, is familiar, through discovered wisdom, with the hardships of unprivileged life. He or she is progressively a good warrior, yet does not provoke unnecessary and unrewarding fights. He or she is balanced of idealism and suspicious wary cynicism and is a gallantly and magnanimously perfect leader for his or her people, he or she reigns as he or she keenly feels his or her responsibilities with want to over-achieve with further burdens.

In the morning while Darcy is perusing the internet newspaper he suddenly and completely hears and watches Reese Griffith's speech, recognises the description of the wizard Ms Woe recently witnessed and feels anxiety over the prospect of populace of the world being impressionably vulnerable to being deceived through deeper subtle machinations to mindlessly fulfil what Reese Griffith wants without patient investigative meditation. It is confirmed the dull non-magical folk and the witches and wizards have a common enemy even though the first would want to condemn the latter instead of acceptingly welcoming her secret cousins and collaborating to accomplish a shared interest while pursuing the punishment of Reese Griffith. Once the air-waves of communication are free from Reese Griffith's control Darcy telephones Sage and discovers she is pessimistically panicking and she wants him to visit her with his comforting evidence to be optimist. While Darcy is transported by private wizard vehicle chauffeur towards Sage he meditates on how to solve this issue and discover the kind of evidence Sage desperately needs. With the inspiration of righteous retributive wrath kindled and blazing Darcy decides to pledge crusade duty to Sage and aspiringly make this issue his knight's errand in service to his damsel and hunt Reese Griffith in order to bring him to justice through excruciating torturous punishment and performing the Insanity Exorcism spell himself.

At Sage's apartment Darcy arrives and invites himself in to find Gray sentimentally cradling Sage, both wearing pyjamas, on the lounge couch while communicating on the telephone with his father, Ambrose Arthurson, discussing what is to be done and how long until the dull secular non-magical folk come to persecute them all and start a war of intolerance. Darcy nobly approaches the couple and kneels at Sage's feet, holds a free hand of hers and looks her in the eyes and comfortingly expresses his ideas, tells her because of his artificial protective anatomy he is invincible and he will protect everyone from danger. Darcy continues speaking to ask Gray if the Purple Puritan Ministry has any idea where Reese Griffith may be and if Gray could volunteer Darcy, to his father, to sacrifice himself to be the champion to hunt, capture, interrogate and cast the spell Sage's parents developed. Gray tells Darcy that he has Darcy full support and he will endeavour his best to persuasively convince his father that Darcy will be most eligible for the mission.

Chapter fourteen: Well-prepared

The Father Superior of Order accepts Darcy as most eligible with the least risks, Ambrose Arthurson summons Darcy to the ministry's headquarters to equip and train Darcy in the best quality of prerequisite preparation. Sage and Gray excitedly come along to visit and observe the process and how the ministry functions. The experience commences with an assessment where the scientists also scrutinise how Darcy's Gargoyle automaton body works and how to add new gadgets, protection and weapons. Gadgets like x-ray vision, flight transportation, various capturing devices, protection like innovated versions of his armour skin, shields and safety to his internal hardware, and weapons like psionics, incapacitaters and magic weaknesses such as spell-casting overwhelming orgasms, called 'Ultra-Erotica', of which are still potentially dangerous depending on how one reacts or releasing whatever magical and physical harm and also a special frozen chemical, called 'The Dullness of Desiccation', of which sucks one's magical energy dry and leaves one dull until after days or weeks of separation later replenished. Father Superior of Order Arthurson recites the recent reports of locations where Reese Griffith has been and in which pattern the insanely evil wizard is leaving behind and where he is likely to go after misdirection where the magical community is weakest and unprepared for defence yet guarding something of value. Ambrose then asks his employees to tell him all they know recorded about Reese Griffith, especially the legendary rumours and speculations.

Reese Griffith's history is thus, he was a bastard son of a powerful errant wizard adventurer and a damsel, with uncontrollable magical force, of one of the sire's rescued conquests, Reese Griffith grew up unfettered but always encouraged to be avant-garde and innovate things in unexplored ways. As a scholar Reese Griffith showed fervour for discovering and experimenting with loopholes, developing new strange enlightening ideas in places of which were forbidden and unexplored for too long. In his young adulthood Reese Griffith started a cult to re-educate people non-magical and witch and wizards through their new perspectives through tempting seduction, the cult desired for radical immortality of their knowledge to concepts of which seemed to have reached each a prime dead end with his potential definitions and thus their essence would live on unsuspectingly in the unwittingly minds of the users. In Reese Griffith's last years before the desperate attempt to hinder the cult's source of vigourous progress through exorcism of his mind-spirit-soul essence to the astral planes to suffer and embrace rehabilitation, Reese Griffith and the Affections began provoking war between the dull secular societies to unite those people later with a common enemy for survival of the fittest when he desired to reveal the witches and wizards to the non-magic folk. The Purple Puritan Ministry believed then that the dull secular societies gave them sacrosanct purpose to protect the valuables of the environment and inspire themselves to strive be and know better and not turn into careless destructive people, so the ministry effectuated a pre-emptive censor of the sowing of the seeds of Reese Griffith's calamitous consequences. The P.P.M. was concerned when Reese Griffith's body was stolen but after years of investigation into rediscovering the body and what might happen with its absence, nothing happened and thus it became a cold case and the ministry paid attention to other issues for next several decades for the sake of safe passive resisting prosperity.

After Ambrose, Darcy, Sage and Gray acknowledging what has happened in history until now they realise it is imperative to stop Reese Griffith and the Affections and bring peace to these radicals mind-set aspirations before the future time-line is corrupted from what is appropriate.

Chapter fifteen: The Hunt for the Daredevil

Reese Griffith, now also known as the 'Daredevil wizard' through the media, has stopped his capricious travelling to settle at Stonehenge and suddenly Ambrose Arthurson is anxious as he wonders if Reese Griffith has discovered classified information about the mystical armour and blazing sword of the 'Unconquerable Saviour' buried, concealed and hoarded under the historical site and wishes to abuse the privilege of wielding it against all. Before Darcy leaves the ministry's scientists equip Darcy with a gadget of magnetism to help him strip Reese Griffith of his armour and weapon. Darcy, now code-named the 'Effigy', glamourous and attired in elegant cloaked militant utility garb is sent to Stonehenge where it is violently thundering over the surface of the horizon to confront Reese Griffith, who has already performed the arcane ritual to access, wear and wield the mystical armour and blazing sword of the 'Unconquerable Saviour', who formidably intends to maim anyone who dares stand up to him and desires tribute gestures of respect as his mane of red locks of hair waves about as the thunderstorm's wuthering squally wind blows. A fierce, keen and smug dialogue commences as the opponents each eerily polite elaborately introduce themselves with snarky wit and express extra information about what they have learnt, respect about each other and value ere they each sound a war cry and pounce with employing all their effort to inflict the greatest affect. Darcy has already planned his actions, utilise his telepathic psionics to try to avoid harm with his shields while in flight, subsequently use his x-ray vision to espy Reese Griffith's magical weak spot through the daredevil's armour, magnetically strip Reese Griffith of his armour and weapon, bind Reese Griffith's limbs together with capturing special rope, spell-cast Ultra-Erotica to distract Reese Griffith, use a device to incapacitate, then attach a frozen block of  'The Dullness of Desiccation' on Reese Griffith magical weak spot to inflict the most affect, interrogate Reese Griffith while the agents of the Purple Puritan Ministry searches for the Affection cult members to arrest them, coerce the daredevil wizard to express an apology speech during a global broadcast ere Darcy spell-casts a heart-piercing 'Insanity Exorcism' hex in front of his friends and the ministry whom chronicle the occasion. But will Darcy's plan accordingly succeed?

Well, this is what happens with how Reese Griffith insightfully adapts and counteracts the Effigy Darcy in real time. Reese Griffith instinctually moves like a robot concealing his thoughts, test the defensive durable resilience of Darcy's shields while leaping reach Darcy, once stripped of armour and sword Reese Griffith retaliates with explosive hexes before trying to avoid being bound with cuffs, once suffering the affects of the 'Ultra-Erotica' Reese Griffith runs amok as he dangerous depending rapturously reacts with desperately releasing further more random magical hexes and physical harm with his forceful thrusting kicks, before struggling to avert being incapacitated as long as he can resist before suffering the affects of the frozen chemical block of Dullness of Desiccation and losing his advantage through being de-powered placed on his most influentially affecting weak spot. Once Reese Griffith is defeated Darcy commences his torturous interrogation of him elsewhere at the headquarters of Purple Puritan Ministry. Darcy discovers Reese Griffith's secrets of which are: Reese Griffith has a plan B, of which is to sacrificially replace, not switch, the dull secular peoples of Earth with the spiritual essence of those eccentric dead witch and wizard people from the astral planes to make the physical realm and life more exciting and all the dull waste of space people to be erased into oblivion – Reese Griffith's Affections have already begun the ritual after observing Reese Griffith's defeat. Darcy is in ambivalent should he stop the ritual or let it happen.

Chapter sixteen: Purity

Darcy meditates for a moment as he realises thus, that the next step in evolution for dull secular people has always been eccentricity, and it just a matter of time until everyone is similar. Before Dull secular people in the evolutionary phases there were Fanatics, gullible, irrational and superstitious people capable of justice, magic and order, then there is Dull secular people whom are abusively corrupt, extravagant and overly legal, also they are boring, shallow and uninspiring, they endeavour to be annoying to everyone, especially making the lives of the eccentric complicated and miserable with their pedantic restrictions and suppressions, they are also careless and stupid in the sense that they cannot and do not see the bigger picture of morality, they are full of emptiness and they try to fill that void of unworthy of boastful glory with believing nothing has any value and that they are free to unpleasantly act and treat each other, they are obsessed with trifling things such as economics, politics and discovering new ways of destroying themselves just for the sake of thrill. Dull secular people just do not know they are wrong. The world and cosmos would be better off without these personalities. Finally in the evolutionary phases are the eccentrics whom are enlightened, magical and saviours. A reality where everyone are fanatic and eccentric can either an exciting paradise or a time bomb, the latter because the desire for the choice of something different after having enough as people decide to escape all the adventure of their reality for tranquil desolate stillness by bringing peace to the excitement through silencing the noise with strangling calm violence.

Darcy decides to spell-cast the Insanity Exorcism on Reese Griffith as planned in hope that Reese Griffith may be willing to help him try to stop the ritual. Darcy grapes his crystalline wand and shoots out the blast of blessed rectification as Reese Griffith suffers the throes of epiphany. Reese Griffith remorsefully realises his obsessive lifestyle was scourge rather than a well-intentioned extremist's purification of life. Reese Griffith in a challenging tone reveals that the Affections were hiding around Stonehenge and waiting for the two of them to leave before they would begin using the hallowed capabilities of the Stonehenge stones to conduct their magic while performing the ritual and that Darcy will be late to stop the completion of the ritual.

All that Darcy can do is try, thus he exits the building of the P.P.M. at the rooftop wearing and wielding the armour and blazing adamant sword of the 'Invincible Saviour' and commences to arduously fly back to Stonehenge with the intent of disrupting the ritual in hope that it would not be accomplished through averting it. Darcy, unglamourous, desperately penetrates the sky, through the wind and passing over cities, town and suburbs as he earns spectators in suspense and marvelling at his design. Once arrived at Stonehenge Darcy espies the stone kaleidoscopically glowing, the shooting out beams of light into a dimensional portal and the Affections enjoying themselves as they are so close to completing the ritual. Suddenly Darcy overhears shrieking noises coming from the where he flew over the non-magical folk as a predicted different kind of Rapture begins happening as they observe each of their neighbours' mind-spirit-soul essence being snatched from their bodies and disappearing into oblivion. Darcy begins to swoop down on the Affection technician priests to stop further annihilation of dull secular people with dropping the fractals of frozen chemical block of Dullness of Desiccation on each of the ritual conductors. Even though these witches and wizards are made weak the ritual continues, but suddenly Darcy resourcefully utilises the armour and blazing adamant sword of the 'Invincible Saviour' to protect him from the magic of the glowing stones and courageously and meritoriously slash the sword across the top of Stonehenge and disrupt and hinder further output of the ritual. As Darcy does this an energy pulsating explosion hurtles Darcy away from Stonehenge to collide with a nearby mound where he take a moment to rest before returning to Stonehenge to observe if there was serious damage to the site of which there is none, however the Affections are mildly injured.

Later Darcy discovers, after receiving a reward of many kisses from Sage for his noble nature, that three quarters of the population of dull secular non-magical folk essences were annihilated and replaced with once dead witches and wizards, yet the rest who were spared are traumatised, bitterly angry with what happened and believe the witches and wizard owe them privileges, however even though the innocent witches and wizards are sympathetic towards the dull secular people's grief they now are taking over the leadership of the world from them.
