What is camping? In any terrain, tundra, forest, jungle, veld, valley, meadow, wherever one either uses tents or constructs shelter from the surrounding resources. The intention is to thrive above surviving. It is to prove one isn't incompetent and careless with proof of one's intellect, skills, and wisdom being sufficient or exceeding expectations in a dangerous environment where urban privileges are an absent safety net. One has to rely oneself through this risky simulation. Sure, embarrassment can be a result of failure but learning can also be one despite failing, so it's not the end of the world.
So camping is to test oneself, to be soberly aware of your current failings and advantages.
So here are my Smart Goals:
Specific: To Go Camping Alone Or With People Within This Province
Measured: Within Two Weeks
Attainable: Sure, Easy to do. Just need a safe location and know it's terrain.
Resources & Logistics: Relatively cheap to prepare food for, driving to such a provincial place isn't too great, tools and such are usually available to family. Must catalog what is needed.
Time: Preferably 3 to 5 days/nights
I have asked one family member to join me so far.
Until I have more information this is part 1.
