Season of the She-wolf
Chapter one: A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
In 1954 a girl is born to former Roma gypsies now assimilated respectable working civilians in suburban New York immigrated to since the beginning of World War II, her name is Ruxandra Charani Ruv and since her birth she has avidly been singing, song-writing and dancing to folk rock music and amusing all she interacted with. Her kindred are neo-pagans and there are annual rites of passage of Alchemy, Art crafts and Hunting sports and in courtship the prospective husband has to cunningly combine these categories as to seduce and win the heart of the beloved maiden. They also indulge and invest in daily worship. At the beginning of 1970 Ruxandra starts a folk rock band called 'The Beehives', such a title because of the newly adopted hairdo by the females of band and how a beehive is significant, with her two twin brothers and two best friends, Emilian playing the Accordion, Shandor with the Violin, Elderberry with the Guitar and Pomegranate with the Piano, respectively, with herself as dancing vocalist and for the next two years prior 1972 where the story begins they practise their precious musical craft and perform for their elite fanatics beginning on April 22, Earth Day. Their songs' lyrics range from phenomenal experimentation while on adventures to exquisite dark romantic ballads and inspirational protest songs with catchy new thematic sound melodies.
Ruxandra's childhood and adolescent years has been a tolerant and also very accepting as being exotic meant one could easily become the object of fond intriguing affection from the growing minority of whom had and shared the affinity for romanticism, thus with the negative exciting reviews came the positive. Throughout Ruxandra's life she continues to proudly celebrate her adaptive culture with her growing fanatic retinue of performance listeners and watchers.
Ruxandra has not yet begun her senior year at school and so is on vacation of which she has spent it at home for now. Her band members each have an individualistic affinity, for Emilian it is traps, Shandor it is wilderness survival tactics, for Elderberry it is archaeology and for Pomegranate it is Law. Dorian, a consultant to Ruxandra's investigative band turned team, has affinities for understanding symbols and playing enigmatic puzzles. All these characters each continue to converge their skills for the prosperity of the team to solve the mysteries they in their share prerogative meddle in. Thus far they have experienced 126 solved mysteries, one mystery per week since the beginning of 1970 from dull, tedious and parsimoniously paid to exciting, overwhelmingly fast-paced and munificently rewarded. This week The Beehives have solved the mystery of the missing hippies and their vampiric hippy torture dungeon captors hoarders of which it was revealed that these latter hippies experienced alternate monstrous personalities from ingesting an experimental drug of which convinced them that their friends' blood was powerfully valuable to drink and their sacrifice would be right for their transcendence.
The Ruv household is a six bedroom large elegant house estate with the essential other rooms and a few extras for the purpose of amusement and religious worship. Ruxandra quickly experiences a shower where she washes her buttock length raven-hair, hygienically cleanses her dusky skin with shower gel soap and safely and successfully shaves her legs and armpits ere turning off the tap and returning to bedroom to dry herself with towels and continue to preen herself overgrowth of hair, apply skin moisturiser, lotions and creams and style her hair. Ruxandra selects from her closet a purple short trouser panties, black mini skirt, white chemise shirt (without a bra), purple jacket and black combat pointy boots and then approaches her vanity mirror dressing table to apply her accessories of purple stone bracelets, a subtly elegant diadem and purple gauntlet gloves. Next Ruxandra skips downstairs towards the kitchen to break her fast of food with nibbling on a honey-covered quinoa meal with slices of fruits, crushed nuts and chocolate powder where she encounters her young pretty mother baking pastries and father drinking a strong coffee before departing for his work at a meritorious established book publishing corporation in Manhattan not too far away. Once finished with her breakfast Ruxandra places her bowl and spoon into the dish-washer and returns to her bedroom to acquire her satchel of essentials and then search for her brothers where she discovers them in the lounge watching Saturday morning cartoons of Scooby-Doo and then watches the rest of the programme with them before urging them to come with her for band practise as well as to privately talk about their shared rite of passage this evening. It is mentioned how they have to demonstrate their absolute control to win, the actual tasks may be anything from overcoming hallucinated fear to solving a deadly challenge. As the siblings exit the house they retrieve their leisure bicycles from the garage and ride to the Briar-rose house where the twin sisters Elderberry and Pomegranate reside with their parents, Saffron and Ginger. Through the avenues and roads the Ruv triplets ride and within a few minutes arrive up the driveway of their destination where Elderberry and Pomegranate stand inside their empty garage wearing in the period style of the seventies similar to Ruxandra just in indigo and purple-pink. Emilian and Shandor, dressed in different styles of rock-star imitation clothing of torn jeans, winklepickers and cowboy boots, waistcoats, chemise shirts and elegant accessories, walk up with Ruxandra to greet each their bandmates with a passionate kiss ere collect their instruments and commence to musically rock-out demonstrating their glorious prowess. After two hours of innovating their performance of all their songs they commence to prowl the streets in pursuit of amusement whether it be another mystery to meddle in or browsing through the mall. They choose the mall and so in time all five characters arrive with their bicycles at the nearest quality mall and decide to check all the stores for new alluring items of which Ruxandra, Emilian and Shandor endeavour to purchase something special for each other as present for how well they may accomplish their rite of passage later this day. Six gifts to be bought, things from the newest music applications to miscellaneous sentimental objects. Soon they after a late lunch at a diner they decide to return home to drop out their gifts ere revisiting their local frequented gym to exercise their muscles and minds with exertion of complete effort for a couple of hours where they should return home once more further complete their schedules.
Nigh twilight Ruxandra, Emilian and Shandor don partial nude revealing and stretchable cultural ceremonial attire/apparel of which embellishes their shapes to make to appear and feel stronger in confidence and physical beauty and strength. Emilian and Shandor are dressed in the colours carmine and maroon while Ruxandra is dressed in deep dark purple. The Ruv extended family are all assembled to watch their newest adults of the family prove their worth. As alluded to with expectation induced hallucinations are selected for this evening's challenge, through magic their hallucinations may combine and influence each other realm of dreams as well as be manipulated through design to manifest a worthy and extraordinarily realistic arena of challenges. The elders mention to the initiates how they are to be tested on how to control their senses, enthusiasm and wiliness as well as how they cope in difficult scenarios of which sacrifice is required. Before the initiates commence their challenge they swear a new elaborated pagan oath to not betray their valuable inherited principles and lifestyle for insane evil.
The moment arrives and so the siblings are metaphorically thrown into the challenge through hallucination of an already in play scenario, of which they first have to become courageous, thus their fears of injurious torture, terrifying dragons and excruciating napalm rain are experienced through panic until they realise these sufferings while overwhelming are not real and they can become immune of the affects if they believe they can through endurance and fortitude. Thus through much effort of believing in each other and themselves they triumph the first challenge, secondly they are slowly/progressively subjected to all of the traits of being a werewolf as well as the physical growth of additional traits through the metamorphoses into werewolf and back into their stronger original form. The sibling initiates are required to absolutely take control of their mind's senses and compulsions and also to feel pleasure rather than pain in the transformations. Despite the blatant difficulty to control they persevere and endeavour to empower their control through enforced belief. With the second challenge conquered they now are about to experience their final challenge of which is to be tested on their weaknesses, to pay attention to and rectify these prospective fatal flaws. Ruxandra's weakness and fatal flaw is attentive engrossment and busybodyness, for Emilian it is intoxication and controllable wrath and for Shandor it is gluttony and excessive inappropriate sarcasm. A mirror of their weaknesses and fatal flaws manifest as embodied antagonists whom are determined to exploit the real origins through their sheer wanton negative habits and soon the originals to come dislike and disrespect this reflected treatment and commence to battle their demons through corrupting the save memory quantity of their negativity with alternative enlightened positive habits. Thus with triumphing over their three challenging rites of passage the triplet siblings turn to conscious reality and commence to metamorph into werewolves. Along with the growth spurt of well-thawed muscles and dense bones and of the different shapes dark shaggy tassels grow out from all parts of each of their individual hulking bodies. At the end of the action sequence the new werewolves each are two feet taller, a new wolf mouth, muzzle and set of strong pearly white sharp teeth have developed also has a long bushy wolf tail, furry ears and strong sharp claws. Subsequently the sibling werewolves sound their first genuine wolf howl at the moon and are let loose to safely explore what is to be werewolves in wise control. The werewolf siblings lurk the suburbs and traverse into the city to stealthily experience the night-life.
Chapter Two: Astral planes, Alchemy and Renegades
Later in the night while in Manhattan a small coven of magical oath-breakers from the United Kingdom, also known as Warlocks, converge to a museum where they intend to steal a coveted on tour of the world golden and adamant artefact, the Astral diadem of Athena. Their leader, a woman named Keira, hurtles through the night sky in elegant witchy attire while in levitated super-flight flanked by two fierce mien strong men, named Arthur and Jason of whom each are armed like Keira with a long wand, a pair of gauntlets and a long sword of which are all engraved with arcane and formidable stylistic symbols. The warlocks are arcane mystics, aloof, sophisticated, humourous, smart and insightful. The warlocks protect themselves from expected deserving of bad luck by repelling it to others. The magical community is an elite community of respectable skilled people intrigued with the art, sport and science of magic and obsessed with solving problems and utilising each of their potential, however these renegades have an affinity for extreme alchemy and its results of powerful spice potions, such as Panacea, weapons and to turn something into something else, transcendence of physics and psychology. They are refined people and more advanced than muggles. Through restricted and advance magic they plan to immaterially phase through the walls of the museum and effortlessly and promptly steal the diadem, stage false misleading evidence of which should eventually lead any investigators to incriminate their enemies, the magical oath-bound.
Just as the Warlocks exit from the museum Ruxandra, Emilian and Shandor are on the roof top of a neighbouring Manhattan building, of whom they curiously espy and sense magical entities escaping from the nearby museum with a mysterious stolen artefact. Immediately they act on their keen meddlesome nature and chase the thieves through leaping from building to tall objects as the warlocks soar, fly and glide away to the local harbour. Soon the sibling werewolves decide they may have to stealthily stow away aboard the same leisure oceanliner ship in order to retrieve the artefact to its rightful stewards. Thus eager for an authentic vacation they endeavour to blend in with the passengers once dawn has commenced to subtly investigate, defeat and civilly arrest these burglars whom are not likely going anywhere over the vast ocean but before then they have to quickly conceal their werewolf forms behind closed doors.
In the meantime there is not much to do but establish a headquarters, meditate on the sounds of the happenings on the ship and wait out their transformations, at first they psychically sense out for an empty suite and become squatters. No room-service or exploring the ship until they look human again, so despite their impatience they know they have to wisely and properly handle this case with care and clarified insight as they do not know their enemy or how to defeat someone with magical powers. Meanwhile elsewhere in the ship Keira is seated upon her bed in her suite wearing the diadem with Arthur and Jason watching her as she utilises the headdress to tranquillise her mind, open her mind to enlightenment and embody an astral form outside her original corporeal entity. Once levitating outside her body Keira views an open portal to the astral planes where she endeavours to gain access to siphon power and inspiring enlightenment and floats through the air and then the portal and senses the sheer brilliance and opulent beauty of the astral planes home to the dead and gods as she keenly explores with moxie to succeed in returning back in her body more powerful and mature in every meaning of the word.
At dawn Ruxandra, Emilian and Shandor revert into their human shapes with more mature differently natural elegant glamour and decide to steal some appropriate outfits for the day-time exploration. They intend to visit the casino, dinner theatre, pools, spa, fitness centre, shops, library, cinema, hot tub, buffet restaurant, lounge, clubs, pool tables and ping pong tables in search of the warlocks in the endeavour to make themselves intimate friends with these people and utilise their charisma, suave and influence for the reason that if one cannot defeat one's enemies one should make friends with them and hope that one can corrupt and convince them not to endeavour to make and cause destruction ere in desperation trying to defeat them in battle through forceful violence where one may have the risk of not being fortunate to triumph over the antagonist. Their vacation of blissful leisure commences at a textile merchandise shop where they select their favourite colour elegant aboard ship day-wear and vanish from the store without paying and drawing attention to themselves ere dining for breakfast on deck. Ruxandra and her brothers discover the oceanliner will be visiting Portugal, Spain, France, England, Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia and may be at sea for weeks depending on how they handle their thieves. The Ruv triplet siblings decide they should attend the spa in hope that the warlocks may be leisurely pleasuring themselves there. Each minute to the people of Earth's reality is a day in the astral plane thus by seven AM Keira has endured more than a year of astral plane existence growing more strong, wise and informative and unlike most can use her new attained power in a reality where such power is extremely rare for humans. Thus Keira exits the astral planes through the portal which connected Keira's astral form to her corporeal body on Earth and returns to her body refreshed and ready to share her power with her accomplice lovers. For a half an hour they experiment with this alchemy from bewitching their weapons to conjuring and bottling mystic spice. Coincidentally convenient the warlocks travel to the spa at the same time as the Ruv siblings to indulge in the service. Both groups of characters choose to each have a full body treatment and thus do the practitioners commence with treating each of them. The Ruv siblings immediately recognise the Warlocks and then commence to entice these people to be listened to and be influenced by them. The Ruv siblings realise the Warlocks to be aloof so they need to enhance their allure and thus do they express themselves with an interesting tone of voice and use of familiar topics of which Keira and her lovers express their tolerance and curiosity to bite the bait after through habit of checking who they are dealing with they mind-read the Ruv siblings and realise how they should act since the Ruv siblings desire no violence as their intent is merely justice of which to the Warlocks is commendable, thus since they have no further use for the diadem of Athena they are willing to part from it in their own time, likely the end of their voyage of which until then they shall amicably interact with their reasonable vigilantes of whom are patient to passively retrieve the museum artefact in a polite indulgently charitable manner. They discourse about the lifestyles of the people of Balkans, the current fashion of all things and the mysteries of the cosmos and esoterica while receiving massages, manicures and grooming. After their shared experiences Keira invites Ruxandra and her brothers to be her entourage/retinue throughout the voyage. Already Keira considers if she should share her spice with her new intimate friends sometime in the near future. Next they intend to amuse themselves at the fitness centre, then the communal hot tub, the outside cool pool, buffet restaurant, cinema, casino, lounge and finally to the dinner theatre before retiring to their suites. All while visiting these places Ruxandra and her brothers metaphorically continue to pierce their influential claws into their suspecting prey as they move nearer to retrieving the stolen artefact as they persuade the warlocks to reveal their true identity and past experiences through quid pro quo. With more extraordinary stories the Ruv siblings tell the greater the detail of the truth about the warlocks are revealed as honesty is recited of their agreeableness. …
