'Earn Your Happy Ending'

Earn Your Happy Ending
Chapter one: The Mists of the Magical realm
Once a upon a time there were two nearby dominions of elf civilisations, those who lived in a prosperous urban industrialised palace and city called the Elegant and those who lived in a vast rich dark fertile enchanted forest called the Wild. Each of the respective monarchies have several children, but their eldest children are arranged to marry once they reach marriageable maturity while each of their other and younger children shall marry into other elf dominions further away. The Elegant monarchy’s eldest child is a female named Glory and the Wild monarchy’s eldest child is a male named Keen. Glory and Keen are around the same age, presently both are at the age of ten and now their parental monarchs have decided to commence the engagement phase as now the future couple should live together and be further educated by worthy selected tutors in a neutral realm, the dominion of the non-magical folk, to test their compatibility and prepare them for the challenges later in life.
Chapter two: Adapting
Once pampered and cared for Glory now she has to take of herself and her future husband, as for Keen he is familiar with taking care of himself but never did he have to protect, care and pamper for anyone but himself. Beyond the mists which cloak, separate and is a magical portal and wall between realms and into the dominion of the non-magical human folk where magic is not allowed or possible to achieve by the natives belonging to this different species and hard labour and survival is always a responsibility and concern do the future married couple and their tutors travel to a new home, a large cottage, of which is harmoniously located and styled industriously urban and primitively wild. While they stay here they must to disguise themselves – concealing their elfish features – and overachieve in keeping up appearances in this non-magical human folk community.
Elves have strong passions and beliefs, they question and act contrary to mainstream society of the humans and other species as they mischievously disagree how things continue, they darkly brood over each of their struggles and beliefs like control freaks and drama-royalty. Elves are very attractive physically and in terms of their personalities, each possessing a great deal of magnetism and charisma, as they use these abilities to achieve social and romantic dominance whenever necessary. Elves are very intelligent, perceptive, sophisticated, educated, cunning and adaptable, intensely self-critical and introspective and also self-centered. Elves each have a unique mystique, they are extremely passionate and many things haunt them. They see each other’s’ values and passions as above and better than those of other species, manifesting moments of arrogance and each a martyr-like attitude. But they also have an intense dynamic drive and determination to live out each other’s philosophy sometimes without regard to other species’ philosophies.
Glory’s tutor and mentor is a crone with still a fresh mind, named Owl, of which allows her to be an expert in knowing vast knowledge of technicalities and the bigger picture of the Elegant and other dominions of the planet’s culture, skill and invented innovations. Keen’s tutor and mentor is a sage also with a fresh mind, named Raven, of which is much like Owl’s however he is more aware of farming, studying the environment and war technical combat.
Soon the royal students and mentor tutors encounter and meet two runaway brother and sister orphans the same maturity as the royal engaged students, named Hugo and Jessica, whom beg the four elves to allow them to join their home and work to earn their privilege of safely and comfortably living with them. Nobly the four elves accept them as servants, decide what these servants should accomplish throughout everyday on schedule and how generous they will reward their servants.  As the royal engaged students get to know their servants whom they mutually become fond of, secretly do Glory and Keen reveal magic to them and amuse themselves in frolicsome mischief together. After a year later the royal elf monarchs wish to inspect their children’s engagement and education’s quality progress so Glory and Keen are invited back to their respective dominions for a demonstration through a gala ball at each dominion’s palace. Glory takes Jessica with her and Keen takes Hugo with him to show off how skilled and talented their friendly servants are to each of their parents and siblings.
Chapter three: Supernatural exploration
Before leaving the elf dominions and magical realm Glory and Keen take Jessica and Hugo on an exploration adventure to experiment and discover what is unknown to them all whom are not yet optimally wise and experienced. They commence travelling on unicorns, one unicorn per group of two. The two unicorns names are Swift and Alacrity and these unicorns can talk as elves and non-magical folk can and do. Swift and Alacrity listen to Glory and Keen’s plan to reclaim a treasure trophy from the hoarding dragon Covetous far, far away, and thus Swift and Alacrity advise the royal engaged student couple and their stalwart servants to visit the nearby dwarf dominion to purchase armour, weapons and gadgets in preparation and prevention of being injured, broken or killed, and so the fellowship of four decide to agree and make it happen. Later the dwarves they meet recognise Glory and Keen take them to their monarch leaders of who respectfully, politely and concerned that the royal engaged student elves have no guide for their journey welcome their visitors to their mountain mine, palace and city and curiously ask Glory and Keen what and how could they aid them. Glory and Keen ask for discretion as they intend to go on an adventure to reclaim precious treasure trophies from the infamous dragon Covetous far, far away and that they require tailored and custom-made adventure garb, armour, weapons and gadgets to successfully triumph in their endeavour/quest. The dwarf monarch leaders acquiesce to their customers providing they collect something special for the dwarf monarch leaders, however they generously affirm that one of their best protector guides should lead the fellowship to the dragon Covetous and help them acquire what is necessary. Once mutually in agreement, soon Glory, Jessica, Keen and Hugo are colourfully and stylistically outfitted, comfortably armoured and wielding weapons and gadgets of which the fellowship children experiment with and practise under the supervision of their crafts-persons and their protector guide, Quartz. Sometime later while peacefully and tranquilly riding through the beautifully majestic wilderness of the magical realm they encounter an eerie, mysterious and riddling-truth-sooth-saying haunting of ghosts at a bridge whom they decide to ask for information of how safe their journey shall be. The ghosts immediately warn them fellowship of wild, savage and woeful scourges in the forms of cursed anthropomorphic beast monsters, they could cure them if they can enchant a reversal poem antidote spell and that they should pursue the griffins for a safe rapid getaway after escaping the dragon Covetous. The fellowship generously thanks the ghosts with books to read and then continue to embark on their adventure onwards while preparing a reversal poem antidote enchantment called 'Redemption of the penitently suffering'. Later on their travels several cursed predator monsters ambush them, however the enchantment poem is complete now all they have to do is to defensively protect themselves with a magically manifested infernal ring wall of fire and fight off those whom manage to infiltrate the protective circle, chant with feeling and focus their magic to affect the monsters.  Several times the fellowship chants the reversal poem antidote enchantment and each time they conclude the chanted poem the monsters change appearance and become more civilised and tame in behaviour. Once the metamorphosis is complete and the monsters' true forms are revealed to those of three elves, two male and one female, two male dwarves and a witch and wizard whom wish to repay their saviours with facilitating the fellowship in their journey to reclaim treasure trophies from the dragon Covetous's treasury lair. The once cursed monsters reveal the truth of how they became cursed, they mention it was because of punishment for performing forbidden dark magic and crimes of which they were blinded by their ambition and extreme good intentions through alternative methods. Their names, the three elves are called, Shadow, Moonlight and Halo, the two male dwarves are called Adamant and Obsidian, the witch and wizard's names are Purple and Blue.
Sometime later the fellowship visit the bottom of the mountain where they dismount the unicorns and the protector dwarf guide's horse and where the eyries of the griffins reside on the plateau to hire them as getaway transportation from the dragon's hoard treasury castle of which he now squatters and commence their climbing the precipitous face of the mountain to reach together and convince the griffins to help them. Once they arrive at standing upon the plateau of the mountain where the eyries are housed they visit the griffins' leader for permission for the griffins to help the fellowship on their mission. The powerfully strong, courageous and wise griffin leader named Masterful congratulates the fellowship together in their arduous effort of successfully climbing the precipitous mountain and so in reward he listens to Glory and Keen's adventure's plan, experiences thus far and how the griffins can best help the fellowship. Like the dwarf monarch leaders Masterful also wants something precious and special from the hoard of Covetous, so he agrees to facilitate them in their most desperate need for escape. To help the fellowship hurry on their journey Masterful orders his servants to transport the fellowship in the right direction of the dragon Covetous's treasury castle lair and safely land to disembark the passengers before they can summon their transportation animals to continue their journey.
Later in their travels they encounter a mysteriously eerie lone old wizard called 'Blaze' who mentions he is on a similar journey to win treasure from the dragon Covetous through a game of cunning, mystery and wits. The fellowship can't help but not trust him for some unclear instinctual doubtful warning, but ignoring thus advice they accept him to travel in their procession. Throughout the marching of unicorns, a horse and several couple of feet in shoes the fellowship learns more about each other, especially about Blaze. What they learn is thus: Glory likes reading, leisure and organising, Jessica likes flowers, animals and swimming, Keen likes traps, fighting and exercising, Hugo likes enigmas, riddles and puzzles, Quartz likes song-writing, instrument crafting and dancing, Shadow likes astronomy, science and experimentation, Moonlight likes painting, alchemy and whittling, Halo likes tinkering, exploring and creating new magic, Adamant likes food, drink and erotica, Obsidian likes architecture, weapons and warmongering, Purple likes speaking to the dead, reanimating corpses and dancing frolicsome and naked in cemeteries, Blue likes controlling water, creating cold and fashioning frozen objects and Blaze likes treasure, games and understanding mysteries.
Chapter four: Not there
After many hours since the fellowship first began their journey they have arrived at their destination, the treasury caste lair of Covetous of which its appearance is grotesquely awesome and formidable. But suddenly as they warily pussyfoot into the treasury they notice that the dragon is not there, missing from protecting his hoard of treasure. They are both relieved and terrified, the latter because they wonder if Covetous had been expecting them and thus may ambush them when they are vulnerably amusing themselves as they blissfully frolic with the precious mineral wealth. Thus they try to exercise caution however still enjoy these treasures as they chose the best treasures for themselves and those whom they owe. But suddenly before they exit with their sacks and bags of treasure Blaze surprises them by shapeshifting into the dragon Covetous and expressively revealing his real true identity with terrifying and menacing mannerisms. Subsequently Covetous solemnly, machiavellianly, scornfully and fairly demands they win their share of the treasure and the treasure they owe to others from him through challenges and that if they forfeit or lose they shall be devoured.
Chapter five: The Examples of the Solved Mysteries of the Sciences and Mathematics of Magic
The Dragon Covetous is fiercely curious, intelligent and talented, however he has not yet mastered understanding everything, as to understand everything is to control and be empowered by everything. The dragon can shapeshift from dragon to man with great difficulty, but he wants to clone himself several times so each of him can focus on exploring and understanding an enigma, mystery or riddle after each experiment before being absorbed by the original to allow the original to understand all, but he needs different believers, perspectives and experts to help him understand and enable him to clone himself, thus through these challenging games of sufficiently analysing the technical sciences and mathematics of magic he does not lose as he either satisfies his hunger or learns to understand something new or an innovation. This treasure hoarding dragon known as Covetous is obsessed with all kinds of treasure metaphorical or literal. The dragon knows he must transcend to allow himself to understand new and greater mysteries, thus he has been developing his mind very zealously with alacrituous exercise pushes his limits. The dragon also knows there are many ingredients to everything and every possible variety of combination, he knows he must be aware of much to manifest everything beyond what wizards are able and trained to limitedly make things so. This dangerous adventure has just become perilous if they are not saved through the miracles of correctly answering the dragon.
Glory suggests organising the dragon's mind more efficiently, effectively and understand the correct context of what he is trying to understand, Jessica suggests focusing on developing his cloning powers through analysing the ingredients of flowers and animals first, Keen suggests optimally exercising the body as well as the mind and eating the most nutritious plant material, Hugo suggests the dragons should think the opposite as he usually does to understand more, Quartz suggests the dragon learn musical rhythm to help control the ingredients, Shadow suggests the dragon should collect, assemble and combine his resources of ingredients in groups, Moonlight suggests the dragon use the idea of painting, the combination of extra editions of actions and ingredients through experimentation, Halo suggests the dragon tinker machines and magic with physical demonstrations and simulations, Adamant suggests the dragon savour and imagine new perfection, Obsidian suggests the dragon use shapes and how they interact with other to help him see in depth how things intricately work, Purple suggests the dragon communicate with the dead for answers for their memories never fad and they continue to improve on their inventions and innovations in the afterlife, Blue suggests the dragon manipulate the elements and observe how these elements affect each other in different ways. Suddenly the dragon agrees and understands he was thinking in the wrong context all along, thanks them and allows them to leave with their treasures.
The fellowship has each successfully averted a terribly painful death through their sheer ingenuity. The fellowship now thinks fondly of the dragon and now hope to advertise the positivity of the dragon to the world. Thus now they summon their griffins for transportation, subsequently they reward the griffins, disassemble to their rightful home dominion and then Glory, Jessica, Keen, Hugo, Quartz, Adamant and Obsidian return to the dwarf dominion where the children depart and travel back to the two dominions of the elves to boast of worthy glory ere leaving the mists of the magical realm to the non-magical folk realm and dominion to continue experiencing the further progression of Glory and Keen's engagement and the education of all the four children.
To be continue to the end.
